Is this an interesting paper?

No, it is certainly not. It does not solve any problem, it makes the same assumptions made before and it mimics the same old arguments we had for the last 10 years or so giving nothing else. We know about the holographic principle and how it generates some “dualities”. It is no surprise whatsoever that there is a gauge-gravity connection and that you can simulate it for D0-branes (although you cannot in principle). There are the same problems of introducing supersymmetry in the desired ways and the same problems of quantization as they’ve always been. The paper just mimics a way of thinking that is vastly obsolete.
